36 holes each named after famous Bordeaux Médoc Wine Châteaux. "Les Châteaux" is a reminder of traditional Scottish links with its wide fairways lined with heather, gorse and broom. Its fast greens, technical difficulties and the winds off the nearby Atlantic Ocean make it a constant challenge. "Les Vignes" is set in a beautiful typically local moorland and maritime pines landscape. Its long par 5's with their carefully designed greens and well-placed bunkers call for accurate shots. Golf du Médoc is a regular host of outstanding international events and ranked among the best course of continental Europe.
Golf du Médoc was ranked 57th in the 2009 Golf World's Top 100 list of continental European golf courses.
