Played Les Pins and absolutely loved it. Challenging drives from lovely tees, splendid condition around the course, greens in magnificent condition and fairly challenging. Lovely old/established feel to the whole place. Definitely worth seeking out. AM August 10, 2005
Les Dunes - I have played this course half a dozen times previously. Several changes have been made over the winter and as a consequence I won't be returning again. On my latest visit I was dismayed to discover that 2 of the better long holes (the 14th+15th) have been discarded and replaced with a pair of short par 3's. There are now no less than 6 par 3's on the course and the whole balance of it has been changed for the worse. The 2 new holes are both of around 130 yards. The 18th hole has been shortened and straightened in order to make space for the new 17th green. This really is a great shame since previously the 18th was an outstanding driving hole. The only improvement to the course was the extension to the previously mundane 4th hole. This has now become a very good hole indeed. I really don't know what they were thinking about when they made the other changes though. Robert H April 28, 2009
