Course Reviews Recently voted in the top three golf courses in the Loire Valley, Bauge is a gem of a course. Sympathetically carved through ancient forest, each hole has an individuality and presents a new challenge. Not over long, none the less not many reach its par fives in two and straight driving and accurate irons are demanded by its par fours. Well shaped and guarded greens are in good condition year round and the welcome in the clubhouse is always warm and friendly. A great way to revel in beautiful French countryside and challenge your game!

What a gem!I have just played this course in November after heavy rain and frost and can say that the greens put the majority of summer greens to shame! A course carved out of mature forest with each hole offering an individual challenge and so quiet you could almost feel you were on your own private estate! Highlights are 13,14,15 - a little "Amen Corner " of a par3, par4, par5 which will take careful clubbing, straight hitting and no fear of water to negotiate successfully. Play early and take lunch in the friendly restaurant and experience real French golf at its best.
