The gite sits in the enclosed grounds of the owners' property, a former cognac distillery. This gem of a golf course meanders through gently sloping vineyards belonging to the family Martell who initiated the construction of it about 3 decades ago.
The clubhouse is a well-designed extention to a centuries old Charentaise barn complex. The restaurant terrace is spacious with generous views onto the 18th & 9th greens.
Across the quiet road there are ample practice facilities such as a driving range and a vast chipping area. The oval practice green is situated right in the middle of the inner court yard bordered by long lines of old white-washed barns.
The friendly course, its staff and members, the laid-back atmosphere and no-pretence attitude has won us over instantly; this is a place we can easily call 'home'!
