Location
70km south-west of Poitiers, very close to the "Venise Verte".
1. From the Saintes/St Jean d'Angély direction and follow the signs to "Golf Municipal de Niort".
2. From the Bordeaux-Paris Motorway, take the Niort Centre exit, follow the signs to Nantes at the second roundabout, and then right towards "Hippodrome & Golf", and right again pretty soon towards the Golf Club.

A fairly flat course, partly built on a horse racing course, with elevated tees. The greens are well defended by bunkers and ponds and the fairways are fairly narrow makeing it a technically-demanding course.
The first few holes are shared with the horse-racing course.
