This is a long hard golf course set in pine forest, best played using a buggy as it gets hot in summer. There are over 30 electric buggies for hire. It has many visitors mainly French and British. The fairways have got a sprinkler system and are laid on sand dunes. Many holes follow the hollows between the pine covered dunes. The greens are thin grass on quick draining sand and in summer can burn with the heavy course use. They are annually tinned in autumn. The regulars are used to and welcome visitors and several Brits are members. It is a family orientated club with a large lady and junior sections. The high quality club house overlooks the 18th green and lake and the club restaurant serves excellent french cuisine. It's my favourite course as I must have played it over 100 times in 10 years of visiting.
