Course Reviews
The course is flat, featureless and barely bigger than a pitch and putt (If you drive over 200 yards, leave the driver at home). The course is in reasonable condition, but the greens are poorly maintained.
As for the cost (wow) 65 euro green fees.
And Overseas membership isn't cheap. The cost for an overseas membership is approx 500 euros plus the joining fee 700 euros and that's not the end of it as it cost an additional 5 euros every time you play. So if you play 50 times a year the first year will cost 1450 euros (2133USD) and then each subsequent year 750 euros+yearly increases (1104USD). As a full member the costs are 700 euros joinng fee 700 euros golf membership yearly and 300 euros Marsa country club membership i.e 1700 euros 1st year and 1000 euros+yearly increases each year after.
So in conclusion the weather's great, the golfing is poor and it's very expensive (only course on the Island).

Having been a member in 2006, I wanted to put in a good word for the Royal Malta Golf Club. Although short, I rarely played to my handicap (7). It is a great course with some quirky holes. I played on Christmas Day in my shorts. Fond memories.
Well worth investigating!
