The first course, a Jack Nicklaus Signature course, opened in June 2007.
Location
Situated in the unspoiled Eastern Algarve region on the southern coast of Portugal, 30 minutes from Faro and surrounded by over 1,000 acres of the most beautiful Algarvian countryside.

The first course is situated on the north end of the development and offers players breathtaking views of the sea. It will meander over 70 ha of gently rolling hills and valleys. Unusually, it has five par-5 and five par-3 holes built around five lakes and, because of this, it plays longer than its 7197 yards.
The second course, which will also be of championship calibre, will be constructed on the southern end of the development.
The build density is said to be one of the lowest of any comparable developments in Europe.
It has been ranked amongst the Top 100 golf courses in the world by the American magazine Golf Digest.
