About the Course	Several man-made lakes provide hazards for the players and also serve as water reservoirs for irrigation. Venue for the 2005 World Cup, the first time the World Cup Championships has been played in Portugal, and the second time in Europe since the event changed its title and format in 2000.
Course Reviews	Recently played this wonderful course (early April) and the whole experience was a pleasure from start to finish. The holes 11 and 12 bordering a large lake are what golf dream are made of. Lots of more great holes and definitely one to add to your note book.
