There are only 3 holes! They are played three times each off different tee positions! Once each off the reds, yellows and whites but these are placed differently to give a bit of variation. I suspect, being a tourist and not Russian speaking, I was also ripped off on price. The web states ~ £33 (1500 roubles) for 18 holes (or 6x3 actually), they insisted this was the price for 9. Then club hire and trolley hire on top. I was the only player on the course. There is a lot of water so bring a lot of balls. Having overcome one's initial disappointment and anger, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The fairways and greens were in reasonable condition and the weather was great surprisingly given the forecast. As it appears to be the only course anywhere near St. Petersburg, there was no alternative. Golfers did start arriving to play about lunchtime so I guess it is not completely empty all the time. The pro and the guy in the 'proshop' (a not so converted ship container) both spoke English and there is a 200-250 metre driving range. According to the web Ove Arup are planning to make a 27 hole course there. Unless, like me, you are in St. Petersburg and must play, I would wait till they do.
