About the Course Islantilla is surrounded by leafy vegetation and impressive sea-views. "The smooth slopes, the water, its landscape, its climate, turn golf into a real pleasure for all type of players and handicaps".
In 1995, it was the venue for the Turespaña Masters won by Alex Cejka, as well as various Challenge Tour tournaments, including the APG of Spain.
In 2000, it was ranked among the top 100 golf courses in Europe by the prestigious magazine Golf Digest.

Course Reviews A real quality golf break, there are 27 holes to play but at present 1-9 are not available , 10-19 are tricky with many non visible turns ,streams ,ponds with nice large carp and tench ,fantastic views and well kept greens, the back 9 are for the big hitters and just as scenic and well maintained as the first 9. We just returned from a four day unlimited golf break playing in 36 degree heat, what more would you want ! apart from a fifth day.
The course record I believe is 63.

Have just spent 10 days at the Islantilla Golf resort, and what a joy it was! The course is split into 3 lots of nine holes that can be matched up to make 18. The resort was very nice, but don't expect wild parties as is very peaceful. The course is in excellent condition, if a little over watered - have never plugged on the fairway in August before!!. The staff are very friendly and the teaching pro's very patient. Course would be quite daunting for the beginner, however provides a good challenge for the more experienced golfer - particularly enjoyed the 2nd, 10th, 17th and 22nd holes. Overall a big thumbs up!!
