old fashioned golf course where position off the tee on most holes is more important than length. A good challenge on an interesting layout with no easy par threes and good use of water on the course. The greens are quick and normally in good condition. The standout holes are the 4th (extremely narrow off the tee), 8th (over a lake) 11th (short dogleg to the left position is everything on this par 4) 14th (short par 4 over reed beds). The club house is excellent with great views form the patio, the food is very good and its has a very relaxing atmosphere to mull over your round over a beer.
