Golf Costa Adeje offers stunning views across the Atlantic Ocean and is built on old banana plantation terraces that slope down towards the sea, with the terraced fairways framed by more than 5km of old stone walls. Another unique feature was the bunkering, using black volcanic rock sand native to the island, but the black sand has now been replaced by fine white silica sand from Cadiz.
The course hosted the Tenerife Ladies Open on the Ladies European Tour in 2005, 2008 and 2009.
