The name Domaine Imperial is due to its purchase in 1859
by Prince Jérôme Napoleon, cousin of Emperor
Napoléon III.
Thanks to its unique position on the shores of Lake Geneva
half-way between Lausanne & Geneva & thanks to the
excellent quality of its environment & facilities, Golf
Club du Domaine Imperial has become one of the top Swiss courses.
It has received many awards such as :
- Guide Peugeot, No 1 in Switzerland
- Golf Magazine (USA), the most beautiful holes in the world
- Golf Digest, No 1 in Switzerland. Etc...
Its signature hole is hole 1.
