About the courses

"Water comes in to play on 18 of the holes with the 9th, 11th, 16th, 18th and 27th being the most infamous. The 16th and 18th, on the Ruffet Course, have become notorious for destroying good scores however the island green 11th has become the hole that most visitors have heard about and can’t wait to play. A carbon copy of the 17th at Sawgrass in most ways, even the better players are pleased to leave the green with a three on the card."

Course Reviews As soon as you turn into this golf club you know that the day will be special. The driving range is manicured to a condition that a lot of courses would envy and the par 3 to your left provides a great short game warm up (you will need it!). The course itself is picturesque and challenging with a lot of people stumbling at the island green. The greens have a snooker table and the fairways are not far short of that either. A GREAT course!

Wow,wow, and wow. What a course. Having been to Bristol for a golf weekend and played The Players, The Park and the Kendleshire it was by far the most challenging. With superb greens, great fairways and well placed bunkers, oh did I not mention the water !!!!!
The four of us who enjoyed our weekend all agreed that the Kendleshire topped the lot with every hole offering diffferent challenges. If you want a top course this is the one.
