Founded in 1905, the course has remained almost unchanged in its 100 years existence.
It is an almost
links-like heathland course in very attractive forest setting, not an easy course, although fairways are generous and any shot off line can prove difficult to play out of heather or bracken.

Very nice course, in fantastic condition. The greens are fast and true, made very welcome by everyone we met. Would recommend it to anyone. Played on the 31/03/2011 on a reciprocal from Andover golf club
