I have just played this course. Was looking forward to it as I had heard it was a good course but came away bitterly disappointed. Their website makes much of the standard of the course. It was in appalling condition. The greens were pock marked (presumably some fungicidal disease) making putting a lottery. The worst thing though was the state of the fairways. Cutting fairways is a basic part of course maintenance and it had not been done for a long time. On many holes it was difficult to distinguish fairway from rough. So much time was wasted searching for the ball and in one instance a drive up the middle resulted in a lost ball! Won't be returning to this course. It is a shame because with proper maintenance it would be a super golf course. The only enjoyable part of the day was the pleasant and friendly service in the clubhouse.

Dibden
is a good golf course with some of the best greens I have played
on. The course layout is good and some the holes are very challenging.
The people at the club are nice people, so all around Dibden
is a super golf course. Martyn Packer
