Really lovely course and great value. 12.50 pounds for 18 holes! A bit of a hidden gem. Definitely short, but plenty of unusual obstacles, trees, paths, 90 degree dog legs etc and the very tight and fast greens definitely test your accuracy and short iron play. It actually helps that it is only nine holes, as it's useful for your score to have had the opportunity to try and improve on each hole. The "light" rough was my only criticism. If you found it, you had more or less no chance of finding your ball, which the staff admitted had been caused by the recent exceptionally wet weather. They are in the process of rectifying it.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend Briggens. It's a beautiful spot, really nicely maintained and is a really challenging little course.
