Green fees £19 - a bargain price for a course of this quality.
Played here on Sat 29/1/05 and was impressed by the excellent condition of the course. The course is a full 18 hole, par 72. Challenging enough for a good player, yet also fun for the beginner. The 9th hole was my favorite with its dipping curve towards the green. 10th also deserves a mention for its difficult uphill tee shot.
Hope you enjoy your round.

Make no bones about it - for a municipal course this venue is superb and at the bargain price of £16 weekdays, £19 weekends. I have played many private clubs that have charged upwards of £35 a round and they have been no where near as good as this course. It is well maintained and provides for a lot of variety for both the beginner and the experienced golfer. A top top course!

Played early morning 18 June '05. Very good test for mid-handicappers like myself. Plenty of tight holes with danger on one or both sides. Most impressed by the condition of the greens which were fast and true. Fairways are tatty in places and the rough is very forgiving. Favourite hole the 8th. Big hitters can draw the ball close, or even on, to the green off the tee, but you need some nerve!

This is a quality course. It has 2 courses: a par 3 and a 18 hole. It also has a putting green and 2 driving nets.
Weekends adults: 15 pound, children 9 pound ; week days adults?? children 6.70.
I t is the best golf course and I play off 19 and my best is 84, it is class.

This course is very tidy. The greens are medium paced the fairways are good and rough is clean to hit out of. In my opinion this course is one of the best around .It costs children around 10 pound on a weekend and on a week day around 7 pound. Adults about 18 on weekends and 12 on weekdays i dunno. My best is 10 over it is a hard course on some holes so you should take a visit there.

Great course for both beginner and experienced players. We go nearly every Saturday and enjoy it. In good condition and great value for money at just GBP19.60 per round on weekends. Must book early though as tee times go quick. Fav hole: Par 5 16th.

There cannot be a better pay and play course in the South of England. True running greens, Fairways with an intimidating aspect to catch the errant drive, and staff who literally will not let you leave without a smile.
As a Society, having the pin and drive markers waiting on the allotted tee instead of being shived in the hands of the first group was a welcome difference, and shows just how much they consider their guests.
Great viewing bar, excellent food and service - and we'll save 10% on our next years booking. FANTASTIC!!
