I'm 14 years old and play at Cairndhu Golf Club, it is a terrific golf course with an outstanding view over the hills and mountains to the Irish sea. We enjoy a round of golf at Cairndhu all the time. Jordan April 7, 2005
What a beautiful course Cairndhu is!
Located in a visually stunning area on the great coastal route, I am amazed indeed by the beauty of its sweeping views, beautifully tended fairways, lovely crisp and glassy greens.
The second hole is truly a sight worth seeing - sweeping vistas of ocean on one side and lush green on the other.
I m sure this hole (though a par 3) must be very tough when there's a high wind blowing!
Truly a lovely course and I am obliged to Brian Hood for lending me a buggy to drive around it.
Unfortunately, being pressed for time I could not manage a round but this is certainly a top priority on the list of "must play" courses in Ireland!
