Scrabo Golf Club began as a dream in the minds
of two men. One was Gerald S. Netterfield and the other was
Hugh Simms.
Opened in 1908.

2m W of Newtownwards, by Scrabo Tower.
situated high above Newtownards On "Scrabo Hill",
overlooking the Ards Peninsula.

Exquisit views from the Clubhouse
and the course can be seen of Strangford Lough to the south,
with the Mourne Mountains and Co.Down forming a breathtaking
backdrop. Looking North, views can be seen of the City of Belfast
and the world famous cranes at Harland and Wolff Shipyard.
