When standing on the first tee of this course i thought 'wow!'. The view was absolutely amazing on the bright sunny day, a perfect day for golf. The first hole was excellent! The second however was a very VERY tricky par 4. after taking a 7 here after losing my first ball i had the round of golf of a life time. The course is quite hard but still enjoyable. i would, however, like to say that the pin positions were a joke, some being cut in the middle of small dips in the green making it impossible for the ball to stay near the hole. Nevertheless i would like to show my sincere appreciation to the lads at Portstewart for my excellent day. The young man in the pro-shop (Andrew Stewart) was of great help.
