Voted European Golf Resort of the Year in 2005, Druids Glen which is often referred to as "the Augusta of Europe", has played host to the Irish Open on four occasions between 1996 -1999.
It also was the venue for the inaugural Seve Trophy in 2002 and has played host to some of the worlds top golfers such as Major winners Nick Faldo, Ernie Els, Seve Ballesteros, John Daly, Ian Woosnam, Jose-Maria Olazabal, Retief Goosen and Sandy Lyle.
