About the Course "The front nine sweeps eastward from the clubhouse. Mature tree-lined fairways synonymous to Macreddin Golf Club are evident from the opening holes. Panoramic views throughout the valley combined with meandering fairways between gentle slopes and natural contours of the terrain, epitomise the style and splendour of the first nine holes.
Moving across the valley the back nine uses all of Macreddin's natural elements, including statuesque pines, well protected greens and elevated landing areas. The free flowing brook weaves its way through the back nine ensuring that decision making is an essential tool each golfer must carry."

Reviews
Starting with one of the most important factors; Club House: 7/10
Friendliness: 9/10
Tee Boxes: 7/10
Fairways: 7/10
Greens: 8/10
The course is testing you need to have your course management hat on, each hole has ample distance and separation from the pre/proceeding hole, this is attained by the distance from greens to teeboxes and use of the topography of the land.
Every hole is very different and that goes for the front nine which ascends and descends at a fairly sedate pace to the back nine which is more undulating with water in play, while only 2/3 holes that I would consider to be of an ordinary nature you could state the remainder to be signature holes.
You have to be fairly fit to walk the course but there is buggies available for those who are not.
Overall the mature evergreen trees are put to good use and the setting/views are quite amazing.
I will certainly be returning here at least once a month if only for their semi-opens which fall on the first Sunday of every month The Best of Luck MacReddin for the future.
