Situated on the outskirts of Herne bay, the Club is easily accessible from London via the M2, which leads directly to the A299 Thanet Way. The course can also be easily reached via Canterbury on the A291.

This course IS the most unfriendly course I have every played. The members treat visitors with contempt. I had a member walk off the green onto the fairway and take no steal my golfball. Then a group of lady members where teeing off while we were still in range. Having taken my little brother there to play I can state that I will never play Herne Bay again. Monkey07 October 4, 2009
I have been a member of the golf club and left but have to say the greens are terrible they do have a gardener (he is not a greensman) to cut the grass but need real greensmen as this course is going down hill, the marshall has gone so take your luck when you can get a game more members are leaving as they do not care about member reviews just the money that comes in, the best thing to do is play else where and spend your money at other clubs in the area that take care of members and non members the greens and look after members for the future. Just played this course yesterday, 22nd March 2010 and found it pleasant. Although they are still on winter tees the rest of the course is in good shape. It is being re-vamped and updated and the clubhouse is being renovated, but I believe it will be a fantastic course when completed. The members were friendly and helpful. It is very afordable and can recommend it to anyone, especially beginners and the older generation, as it is not too demanding physically. The greenkeeper is doing a good job and the course will be a gem in the summer. Scott March 23, 2010
I am new too this area and have played most of the local courses. i will be joining Herne Bay. A friendlier bunch of people you couldnt wish to find. The clubhouse when finished will be spectacular. The course itself not appearing to be overly difficult proved to have a number of very subtle challenges that will prove difficult for even the most accomplished of golfers. The 440 yard par 4 into the wind, with all the out of bounds down the right handside will be a nightmare in the competitions!! Name not supplied April 6, 2010
