About
the Courses
The Kings & Queens:
Few clubs can boast such an array of stunning holes which will test the most accomplished golfer and inspire the less experienced.
The Princes Course has been built to the highest specification. Accuracy is the key, especially on the par 3 3rd and 6th holes, both played across picturesque lakes.
Plays host to the Kent PGA Championship.

Hever is a beautiful and challenging course. The holes vary considerably and therefore your interest is maintained even if you are not playing well. It has wonderfully looked after greens.

The Championship course is a great challenge and has a lot of variety. I have played it several times and it has always been in very good condition. The friendliness of the club as a whole is better than you would normally associate with such a good course.

A superb golf course in the heart of the Kent countryside, the course has a fairly gentle start although the 3rd hole is a real test from the back tees. The beautiful par 3 6th hole looks straightforward but with water just to the right of the green it's bound to wreck a few scorecards. For me the course really comes into its own from the approach shot to the 11th green, this is followed by the stunning par 3 12th hole with it's elevated tee looking down onto the green with water in front, bunkers to the left and rear of the green and framed by trees, get the camera ready! The par 4 13th hole is another classic, a long accurate drive is required to carry the lake and avoid the well established trees that border the right hand side of the fairway. It doesn't get any easier as your approach shot to the small green needs to carry the brook that runs in front of, and to the right of the green. If you score well from 11 - 13 then you're playing well! The finishing holes at Hever are arguably the toughest in the region and include the 644 yard par 5 17th, surely one of the longest holes in the country. They provide a fitting finish to this excellent championship course.

The 27 hole combination
Hever Castle golf complex with its 27 hole combination must be considered as one of the best of its type in the South East if not the UK. The Kings & Queens 18 hole championship course gives the challenge & excitement that all golfers look for. Every hole allows the more experienced player the opportunity, if not the will to conquer, while the less experienced the excitement and reward for sheer determination. A joy to play and a definite must on the visit list and dont be surprised if a future return will be high on the list.
The Princess [sic] 9 hole loop with it's mix of shorter and narrower fairways will bring out the best of our 'Target-Golf' abilities. This in it's own right offers different challenges than those of the Kings & Queens 18 but must be treated with respect as it will swallow you up if you don't.
Facilities are of a very high standard. Plenty of different practice areas for putting & chipping along with an excellent Driving Range area. The club house and staff offers a very warm welcome while the Pro Shop can surely satisfy the golfers needs.
The whole complex sits in a most beautiful part of the Kent countryside where English history tells it's tales and golfers tread in the footsteps of past Kings, Queens & Princesses.
The perfect golfers paradise.
