Course Reviews
The second in my series of reviews of the Fylde coast golf courses, North Shore is set less than a mile from the coast but has no links characteristics, in fact its almost moorland in character. A very impressive clubhouse with a good friendly atmosphere, well stocked bar and a well above average catering service. The course has excellent greens and is a tough test of golf when the wind blows as it did on one of my visits. I thoroughly enjoyed my visits to North Shore and found the members to be a friendly bunch and its on my shortlist of clubs I may join when I retire in a few months time to the Fylde coast.
