The Club was founded in 1906, it is one of the oldest in the district.

Deane Golf Club is located to the West of Bolton.
From Manchester take the M61 to Preston and leave
the Motorway at junction 5, take the 3rd exit from the roundabout
and follow the signs A58 to Bolton, in 1.5 miles at traffic
lights (Shell garage on left) carry straight ahead, in 300yds
on left hand side is The Rumworth Hotel, in a further 200yds
at 'Wigan Car and Van Sales' turn left into Dealey Road, Deane
Golf Club is 200yds on the right hand side.
