Golf Course Douglas Valley Golf Club is located on the Chilli Dip Golf site. It Opened in 1996 & was designed by local course designer Jeff Shuttleworth. The course was constructed by South African Craig Cooke, and is built to US specification with pure sand greens. The par 32 course features three purpose built lakes and the river Douglas spilts the course in two which makes for interesting and sometimes challenging play.

Location Located at Blackrod, near Bolton
Simply turn off the M61 at Junction 6 (for the Middlebrook Retail Park) and follow the signs from the roundabout for Blackrod. This will lead you onto the A6 Blackrod Bypass Road. Follow this road and Chilli Dip Golf will be on the right hand side after a few minutes. (Turn when you see signs for Portfino Restuarant & Douglas Valley Golf Club.)
