Course Reviews

Played this winter. The course is undergoing massive work
looks excellent having played it last year in which it was superb will most definitely be playing it in the summer of 2005

Cosby golf course is a great club there are good facilities and i will definitely be enjoying a round again this summer

Josh Kind April 11, 2005

Best and fastest greens I`ve played on ever.
Course looks easy but bites you in the **** if not in fairway.

Ray Davies July 4, 2005

I thought this course was magnificent and certainly one of the best i have played in a very long time. I would recommend to anyone of any standard. It is a tough challenge and is in superb condition, the only thing it lacks is water.

Steven Taylor April 12, 2006

I have recently played this golf course in our local society and found it to be a real gem, Although not the longest course it played very tricky with some very interesting holes, some of which looked new, the greens and fairways were superb. I will be coming back again in the Summer as i have been told by members that the greens will be Augusta like in the summer.

Adam Johnson May 2, 2006

Course played amazingly well the greens were excellent and after hearing so much about them they did not disappoint quick and true the rest of the course showed signs of winter construction however the majority of the course was excellent with many good holes, and excellent food to finish with.

Chris May 8, 2006

Played the course during there am/am competition and found it to be in excellent order, far and away the best greens I have played on and that includes some of the Championship courses, has some lovely holes especially from 12 onwards, although the 10th is a very interesting par 3.

James Brooks September 4, 2006

Excellent, greens as the rest of the reviewers have said superb, fairways lovely and some good golf holes, clubhouse poor, pro shop well stocked and the rough long.

Harry Colman September 5, 2006

Played the course in a society In July, on first impressions I was slightly worried what I had brought my clients too as the buidlings are in some need of some TLC but once inside we were given a warm welcome and the day got better from there the course even with the rain we have had over this period was the best we as a group had played on, the greens were so true and fast.

Tony Ward July 31, 2007

Played here a few weeks ago and was really impressed with it. I was invited to play in a pro am event. It was excellent the greens I was told were running at 13 on the stimpmeter. They were like nothing I had putted on before. The course itself although in good condition could do with a few more interesting holes to make it stand out but the greens are worth the green fee alone.
