Reviews
The Lakes - Quite a difficult course for high handicappers. Lakes are placed in front of greens and therefore affecting approach shots - one or two requiring a considerable carry to hit the green. Course management is key here and the purchase of a strokesaver is a must for first time visitors. Course is set in beautiful surroundings and the Hotel facilities are excellent - good value for the green fee. The Woodside - a longer course than the lakes (6600 yds approx) off the yellow tees, is more forgiving for higher handicappers. Boasts one of the longest hole in Europe (606 yds off the white tees - 550 yds off yellows). Greens and fairways in good condition.
