Reviews
Very swanky. Nice food, excellent changing rooms and very nice staff. The fitting room is a place to visit and the pros
there are more than helpful. The huts around the course are
an excellent addition to an enjoyable day out. Ian Chidlow January 23, 2005
Very good course and great club house and practice area,
greens are good in summer and always average in winter. Ross Joyce January 16, 2007
Played @ Gainsborough today 23.05.2008 on the Karsten course and to be honest was very disappointed after reading rave reviews everywhere. It is very open and the greens were the worst I have played on in a long time. I did not have to repair a pitch mark once, spongy in places then bare in other parts and let's just say the ball looked good in the air quite a few times on the green. The clubhouse was nice but if you don't play Titleist balls make sure you take some with you as that's all they sell in the pro shop. All in all saying that I took a day of work and travelled from Nottingham to play there I was suprisingly not too impressed. David Sherlock May 23, 2008
