I was very upset about this course. We were advised not to go by people who had played before but reading the two reviews about it claiming it to be a hidden gem we thought we would give it a try. The whole course is fitted in to what felt like about three football pitches. This meant that to fit 18 holes in, the course is not only short but extremely narrow. Far too narrow to have confidence hitting anything other than an iron off the tee. The greens were tiny and in a poor state also.
I just don't know who this course would appeal to. High handicappers will struggle due to the tight targets and low handicappers cannot play proper golf due to its short distance.

I was very impressed with the course, It wasn't the longest but certainly tested me over the eighteen holes. The course is in great condition, and the nature on the course is outstnding. I played in the afternoon and i would describe it as millionaires golf, as i was pretty much the only one out. Well Done 10/10

an amazing course, very green with beautiful surroundings. the course is very difficult! bring plenty of ball as it has a lot of water. for £10 per round it is much more cost effective than going to woodall spa. TO ALL GOLFERS I RECOMMEND HORNCASTLE GOLF CLUB!
the clubhouse is great! it has a restaurant and a funpacked bar.
10 out of 10 all round.
