About the Course
A wonderful 9 hole golf course, with some very testing holes
off some of the white tees. A parkland course interlinked
by ponds, and also with "rig and furrow" fairways
in part.
Course Reviews
I am currently a member of Woodhall Spa and on the back
of this I have to say that this is a delightful course which
is maintained to high standards. Of particular joy is hole
3 dog-leg left through the clear in the trees and up the hill
for the second shot. The only par 5 on the course is also
a lovely hole which gives much opportunity to the bold to
take off a shot. Hole 8 par 3 is also a real gem over water
and really focuses the mind.
Summary: Not for the beginner per se but this course is very
addictive and worth a visit or 2 or 3 or 4......... Jonathan Brindley June 21, 2005
The new club house is not ready yet but looks like its going
to be great, literally just off the first tee and driving
range. It will have a walk way from the carpark to the front
of the club house through a tree/hedge area.... looking really
good. Full bar and members room to be available and also changing
I think. Jonathan Brindley 27 July 2005 Very warm welcome followed by a very enjoyable course. Well
worth a visit whatever your ability. Marc Jones September 2, 2005
The Club House is now finished and is superb with a large bar, modern changing facilities and well equipped golf shop amongst other things. The club house is also catering for large groups for meals and parties in its spacious main hall. This Club House was well worth the wait! Jonathan Brindley August 30, 2007
A demanding course that will get better when the current work in progress is completed.
The one downside is the approach road that is in urgent need of resurfacing. Name not given February 19, 2009
A very good 9 hole golf course tucked away on the back roads of the A631 nr Greatham.
This golf course is well worth a visit although only 9 holes it is a considerable length with its 2 x par 3s 1 x par 5 and small greens that you should not miss at your peril. We were allowed to play 9 off yellow and 9 off white. (now that's different gravy) 8th hole off white 200+ with a pond in front of the green, a good signature hole. It's a course that you have to manage your way around. Welcoming professional (Matthew) beautiful clubhouse, driving range, practice putting area and a well stocked Pro shop. If you do not play this gem of a course your missing out. Will be back soon and with friends. R Cleland July 1, 2009
An excellent course, first class facilities very challenging and in great condition, highly recommended.
