Very
welcoming to the visitor, even during foot & mouth outbreak.
Wasn't asked for a handicap and joined up with two members
on the 1st even though a comp was on. Dear at £36 but
£16 with my new mates was a steal - it isn't long or
tight but needs some thinking round. A new groundsman is tidying
up some rough areas but holes to savour are the tempting 284yd
6th, short par 3 12th over a stand of pines and the closing
hole with water lurking all the way up the 256 yards to the
green, your every move scrutinised from the bar!
Prices, food service and surroundings very welcoming, a lovely
day out and I was even asked to come back for the Invitation
Day in June! Jon Johnson (Hillsborough

Visited Sun13th 2008 for the first and last time. Looks quite a nice course but greens are very poor at this time and no warning was given. Value for money it was not at £36. Alistair Houston April 15, 2008
