About the
course
The 18 hole golf course meanders through the ancient woodland of the park. With great variations in length and elevation on a number of holes this is a challenging and enjoyable course to play.

Reviews

I think this is a great course, it's suitable for players of all standards. It's perfect for begginers because it's not the longest course in the world. There's only one par 5 and if your an average hitter you could maybe get around without using a wood. It's full of interesting holes that will challenge any golfer and you will use every club in your bag. The highlight of the course is the back nine, with the 15th being the most challenging hole on the course (you struggle to make par!), and the 16th, 17th and 18th the most pleasing to the eye. Apparently someone once reached the 16th green off the tee, i don't believe it and when you stand on the 16th tee you won't either. It's fun to have a go though! Have fun.

Played it yesterday. Won't rush back to do it again. It's a beginner's course, true, and this was reflected in the state of the course. Divots not replaced, copious litter, including around 20 plastic drinks bottles strewn along the fairways and tees and greens so full of unrepaired pitch marks and weeds. Putting was often very frustrating. Add to this the £23 green fees and the surly nature of the catering staff who served me and I think this is one course that should be left to beginners. Liked the no dress code though.
