About Langley In 1926 Henry Cotton, at the age of 19, took up his first job as a full time professional golfer at Langley Park. He left in 1933 and won his first Open the next year.

Langley is a qualifying course for the Open Championship and has fulfilled this function on a number of occasions.

The Club has produced many fine golfers over the years including Peter Hedges (Walker Cup),Toby Shannon (British Boys Champion), Danny Holmes (2010 English Mid Amateur Championship for the Logan Trophy), Roger Chapman (English Amateur Champion), Sarah German (English and British International Player) and George Jackson (the British One-Armed Champion).
Course Reviews A very well kept challenging parkland course. Contains 8 par 4 of over 400 yards and is relatively tight. The most challenging hole is the par 4 14th.
