Played this course whilst on a trip, excellent course and a friendly welcome, I played this course about 15 years ago and it is now almost unrecognisable from what it was, lots of water hazards and tight fairways with excellent greens...
I play off 6 and found it a stern test to shoot par even off the yellow tees.
The club has a brand new clubhouse which opened a couple of weeks before we went which is modern and airy. If you are in the area I would recommend it over the 2 other local course North Manchester (very tired club about to become pay and play) and Manchester (Hopwood) too snooty and not very welcoming for visitors.
