About the Course There is talk of renaming the course “The James Braid Course” or something similar.
Course Reviews I played this course in December 2009 and it was in reasonable condition although it was wet, cold and on temp greens. This is a tricky course, which it should be having been used as a practise course when the Open was in Hoylake. The half way house was however a surprise. Not that it was out of a car but it served hot pies and tea which was a treat. The par 3s are a good test with some huge bunkers protecting them. Any one playing here will not be disappointed especially as it has municipal fees.
