Even with spiked greens this is an excellent links course. There are a mixture of tee shots: some that beg you to hit the ball hard, and some to scare you senseless. The fairways are excellent and perfectly maintained and the greens are well protected and often on slopes and hills.
Even playing off my genuine 28 handicap, I enjoyed every minute and went round in 103...but for finding the rough and losing the ball I would have stayed true to my form. A must play if you are in the area, with an excellent clubhouse and facilities.
