Reviews
Delapre is a very balanced course with 3 9 hole par 3 courses and a 9 hole mixed par course. It has a full 18 hole course which is excellent. It also has a cafe and an American Golf shop which is well stocked out with the latest brands of clubs, bags and clothing. Robert April 12, 2005
This course is virtually unplayable at the moment due to continuing earthworks around the course. Disturbance is expected for five years. Ron Fitzhugh February 1, 2006
Course is perfectly playable and enjoyable. Earthworks nearly complete and hardly affecting course. An excellent day. Martin April 28, 2006
Municipal course with 3 x 9 hole plus 1 x 18. As a group of middle aged men fairly new to the game, we realise now what a good set up this is compared to another course I've reviewed today. If good value, good fun, friendly staff and and a friendly 'easy going' atmosphere are important to you, this is a good place to be. Courses varying in difficulty and size, a good value driving range and nice free putting area all make for a nice day out, and it's on my doorstep!. This is the sort of course that encourages people to play golf. No snobs, no petty rules beyond acceptable etiquette and patience for those new to the game. I believe this is the way forward for golf and encourages a good attitude from the start.
