As far as golf glubs go, Wooler is one of the friendliest, the course is in immaculate condition which compliments the fantastic views of the Cheviot Hills. The course record stands at 71 and was only recently broken in the Wooler Open held in July 2000.This course is challanging to the serious minded golfer and pleasurable to those who like a good day out. At 15.00 at w/end and 10.00 weekdays this course is well worth a visit. Paul Railton
