About
the Course
The course has hosted many important championships, the latest
being one of the Seniors Tour events. It is pleasantly undulating
and winds its way through historic woodland which incorporates
many fine specimens of trees.
As it is built on sandstone, it drains exceptionally well.
The park and woodland is a shelter for a wide range of wildlife
which includes the famous herds of red and fallow deer.
