Course Description
The 18-hole course is a contoured parkland course over 6,500 yards long. The whole course is extremely well drained and playable throughout the whole year. Reputation for superb greens.
The Academy course was officially opened by Peter Allis. The 6 holes vary in length from 110 yards to 170 yards; the greens have been built to the same high specification as the main 18 hole course.

Reviews
My first impression of this course as I stood on the first tee was of a typical heathland course with very thick rough and not much forgiveness to way-ward shots. However the first thing that was instantly brought to my attention when I went to pay my green fees and collect some tokens for the driving range was the exceptional value and curtious service that was displayed and after playing the whole course and experiencing most of the facilities I was agreed that any one who wants to play some quality golf but is on a tight budget could certainly benefit from this course.
