Hmm straight forward .... could be much better with a bit of imagination shown ... some extra tree palnting (avoiding drains of course!) could help to shape some of the fairways away from straight up and down and make club selection an issue, also perhaps ditches accross some of the fairways as I understand it is a wet course due to ground conditions in the winter. Talking of ditches , those that are there are in terrible repair and over grown ... surely this could be attended to during the winter months - there are young trees growing in some and these ditches give a terrible impression of neglect to a visitor, not to mention a danger trying to approach! The course although fairly balnd has some good holes and can be tricky to score on ... really needs some perhaps care and some imagination shown which would make it much more appealing ... A driver can be hammered away at most of the holes with little fear as the fairways are wide and you can always land on an adjacent fairway with usually just a single line of trees inbetween - surely some thought should be added off the tee - do I risk a driver and clear an obstruction (tree/bunker/ditch) or do I play up ?
