Kirriemuir lies in the heart of Scotland's golfing country.
NE outskirts of Kirriemuir. 17m N of Dundee
From the A90 take the Kirriemuir turn off which is at the
north end of the Forfar by-pass, follow the road to the hamlet
of Checkiefield, follow the signs for Northmuir. At the T
junction turn right then left at 50yds. The course is located
at the crossroads in the Northmuir.

is "The Gateway to the Glens"."
"Kirriemuir’s best is reserved for the finish.
The 17th a 180yds, par 3 which is guarded by two majestic
trees, this hole lives up to its name “Braids Gem”.
The 18th is a difficult par 4, it is uphill with a large oak
tree blocking the right half of the fairway".
