Letham Grange's Old Course, with its neighbour the Glen surrounds a mansion house within a walled estate of mature woodland. It is a golfing treat,
a blend of tree-lined parkland and open rolling fairways
with water coming into play on 13 holes.
Picturesque & challenging Letham Grange has been compared to Augusta and its own Amen corner occurs here from the 8th to the 10th.
The scenic 8th
is played over a picturesque lake, onto a green surrounded by mature trees and rhododendrons. The 9th is a tough long Par 5 dogleg to the left.
Possibly the most spectacular hole on the course is the 10th, over water for the second shot. This hole offers a challenge to the most experienced golfers.
Home of the "Scottish Amateur Stroke Play Championship 2000".
Letham Grange will join other renowned Scottish layouts Ladybank, Blairgowrie, Monifieth's Medal Course and English venue The Players Club as qualifiers battle for the right to compete at the 2008 UK Final - to be held for the third year running at Carnoustie from October 14-16.
This year's semi-final dates are: August 17-18: The Players Club, Bristol
