"We unfortunately do not have a licensed Clubhouse, but we recommend St.Blanes Hotel in the village of Kilchattan Bay where golfers can enjoy refreshments after a round."
"Close to the sands of Stravannan Bay on Bute's west coast, Bute Golf Club's 9 hole course provides a delightful location in a rural setting with the dramatic backdrop of the mountains of Arran.
The course although only nine holes offers an array of challenges from the tricky 2nd over the wall to negotiating the burn at the short 3rd and the hillocks at the 8th.
Our club house is a very quaint small cabin. An honesty box is located at the door where you should deposit your green fee. The course makes its way from the club house to the sea, offering wonderful views of Arran. You will notice that the fact that the livestock from the farm have grazing rights to the course and that the fencing around the greens makes it very interesting and different. If you use your imagination you can imagine being out here with old hickorys & guttys just as they did at the turn of the century."
