"Driving off from the first tee beside the Clubhouse, there is a gradual incline to the green where you can enjoy a wonderful view down the Firth of Clyde to the Isles of Bute and Arran, and, 55 miles distant, to Ailsa Craig rising out of the sea off the Ayrshire coast at Turnberry."
In June/July each year Cowal Golf Club hosts a week-long "Festival of Golf" sponsored by Western Ferries (Clyde) Limited.

Reviews
The Cowal Golf Club course is an 18 hole, 6063 yard mature parkland course laid out above the Firth of Clyde on the South-East facing slopes of the Cowal peninsula, offering spectacular views across the estuary, South over the island of Bute and beyond as far as Ailsa Craig in the distance. The course layout and scorecard can be found on their dedicated page.
On the edge of the traditional Scottish holiday town of Dunoon, the club is a short ferry ride across the Clyde from Gourock and though secluded in character is just over an hour from Glasgow City Centre. Further travel information can be found on the contact page.
With the public areas elevated to first floor level to take advantage of the magnificent views the large, comfortable club house includes a function room with public bar, dining room, separate members bar with Sky television, pool table and a snooker room, all supported by ample kitchen facilities with catering offered by Tee & Toast. Office, changing and committee rooms and the Pro shop are tucked underneath at ground level, giving easy access to the course.
Visitors and new members are welcome and a number of options for membership are available see our green fees page for prices and how to book.
