About the Course The Dragon's Tooth Golf Course is one of Scotland's hidden gems. It's a nine hole, parkland course over-shadowed by two majestic munros - Sgorr Dhearg and Sgorr Domhnuill. In-between these two Munros lies the peak of the Dragon's Tooth: an impressive sharp-sided peak over-looking the course

I played this course with my wife today. It is obvious that a huge amount of effort has been put in to create a very fine small course. The attention to detail was quite exceptional. The view from the tee down the 18th is absolutely superb. (We only played 9 but I played the 18th tee). A lot of effort has gone into the creation of the tees for the 2nd nine, without exception they are all a complete change of either length or direction. The cost for 9 holes is quite acceptable, it may be £2 or £3 more than other local courses (Taynuilt, Inverary we played the 2 previous days) but the quality far outstripped either of these. Our heartfelt congratulations.

Dragons Tooth, Fort William, Scotland.
Recently returned from the pristine resort courses of France. Now find myself on the West Coast of Scotland on the 9 x 2 Dragons Tooth Golf Course half way between Fort William and Oban.
Like all 9 x 2 set ups you either "love em" or "hate em" everyone has its own eccentricities. The Dragons Tooth is a great little track not so much for the layout but for the dramatic views from the Tees and Greens. If there is a better outlook / vista in the UK then someone please let me know.
The Golf is OK no problems with scoring, friendly staff, food and drink on site. So for a casual round without pressure in surroundings that are inspirational then make sure you give this place a visit. Fairways OK, Greens Medium and Flat, Card wrecker 9th/18th.
